I've decided to go ahead with an Early Access model due to time and budget constraints. So far, I've been funding the development of the game and, while our developers are great, we don't have the funds to create the game any faster..

The game is currently full of placeholders and is very barebones with a 2 enemy types and a boss using placeholder abilities. However, the base gameplay loop is ready, with most of the heroes, spells and some equipment ready for playtesting.

The main goal for the Early Access release is to get you guys playtesting to get feedback for improvements regarding any and all aspects of the game. Because we've got a very limited budget, we want to make sure the small amount of resources we have are put to good use in terms of making a fun game.

If you play in Early Access, you'll get to contribute to the development of the game! That doesn't mean we'll need you to purchase anything, although that would be very much appreciated! But you'd also be one of the first few players to try the game and submit hard hitting suggestions that can really affect the direction of the game. With a small community, every voice can be heard, and we'll make sure everybody's perspective is accounted for when making decisions.

You'll keep all your heroes and items!

Unless they are received by a bug or during special testing events, all your hard earned heroes, gold, spells, equipment, chests, scrolls etc will be carried over into the live release version once it's out. It's the least we can do as a "Thank you" for your help and support.
